With our expertise and experience on SAP Business One, we develop custom add-ons that can be integrated with the basic SAP Business One system to extend its functionality. The approach that we follow in developing any add-on is to first conduct an in-depth study of the process that has to be mapped to the system. We also analyse the impact that the module will have on other modules of the system. Once the design and architecture of the module is in place, we start the process of coding the module. The module is then integrated with the system and a comprehensive testing process is carried out to ensure proper functioning of the module and that is has no adverse impact on the main SAP Business One system.

Quality Management
The importance of quality management in the manufacturing industry is undeniable. With proper quality control processes in place, delays and rejections in the production process can be reduced to a great extent. At Software Services, we have developed a Quality Management add-one for the SAP Business One system that can be used to record and analyse the results of quality checks performed on the items (raw materials and finished goods) that are being procured and manufactured by an organisation. The results of the quality checks at various stages such as incoming goods, shop floor and finished goods can be stored in the Quality Management module. The quality result data can be used to generate ratings for various suppliers and vendors thereby enabling managers to analyse the performance.

Production Planning
Through the production planning module organisations can manage their production schedules on the basis of machine capacity and availability. The production planning module enables organisations to plan and forecast the availability and utilisation of resources that includes determining the machines that are to be used, and setting the priority of the production schedule. Managers can generate reports to track the progress of the production orders to determine whether or not the delivery schedules will be met.

Financial Consolidation
The financial consolidation add-on enables organisations to consolidate their financial data from various business entities owned by them. This consolidation of all financial data into a single view will provide an accurate picture of the financial health of the organisation as a whole. Organisations that operate multiple business entities are required to consolidate their books of accounts at regular intervals so as to close their books of accounts. The financial consolidation module generates a consolidated balance sheet for all the business entities thereby reducing the complexities and errors involved in merging books of accounts from disparate sources.

Purchase Requisition
We have developed a purchase requisition module that enables organisations to automate their purchase requisition processes. Through the module, purchase requests for goods and services to be procured from external sources can be placed through the SAP Business One system. The purchase department can view a list of requests and can evaluate the request to approve or reject them. A purchase order can be raised for the approved requisitions. Similar requisitions can be clubbed together to form a single purchase order. The purchase requisition module also enables the departments (whose requisitions have been approved) to track the progress of their orders.
